HERE is my Vintage, according to the age I feel that I am, not my birth age.
Mine is Solitude’s Harvest, 1972
A limited vintage from the Valle del Alma, aged in oak and patience.
Tasting notes: Opens with bright notes of desert sage and Mexican plum, warmed by sun-baked stone. The mid-palate reveals layers of old leather-bound books, eucalyptus from a garden in San Miguel, and a whisper of copal smoke. Finishes long and unhurried — wild honey, the salt of the Pacific, and something harder to name, perhaps the taste of a door being opened from the inside.
Best enjoyed alone at dusk, or shared shamelessly with those much younger or much older than yourself. Pairs beautifully with laughter that has survived surgeries, friendships that have survived decades, and the particular quiet that arrives only after you've stopped chasing things.
Bottled by a small house that believes stillness improves with time.
