Ar. Anthony Lee Tee recently broke down how building defects can go beyond just cracks and leaks — and how they can seriously damage a developer’s reputation.

Key points shared:
1. Many defects are not one-off issues but often stem from problems in design, workmanship, and supervision
2. Water leakage and interfloor seepage remain the top complaints in strata properties
3. The 24-month defect liability period is just the start - latent defects can appear years later
4. Recurring quality issues don’t just cost money to fix, they also hurt long-term trust and brand image

The talk concluded with the Construction Quality Excellence Forum, featuring Ar. Hue Chiun Hau, Ar. Datuk Ezumi, and Mr. Danial Tan Wee Xian.
