Hiring Now: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive
Industry: Energy / Trading & Manufacturing
Location: Padang Serai, Kedah
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Objective:
The Account Executive / Senior Account Executive will manage the full spectrum of financial accounting for the Group’s Malaysian and Singaporean trading entities. This role provides critical support to the Manufacturing Finance team and ensures strict compliance with cross-border tax and accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
* Manage the full set of accounts for both Malaysia and Singapore trading entities.
* Execute daily operations for AP, AR, GL, and monthly Bank Reconciliations.
* Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and maintain lead schedules.
* Ensure compliance with Malaysia (MPERS/MFRS) and Singapore (SFRS) standards.

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

* Prepare and submit Malaysia SST and Singapore GST returns.
* Execute e-Invoicing submissions and perform corporate tax computations.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and authorities (IRAS & LHDN).

3. Manufacturing & Trading Analysis

* Support the Finance Manager with product costing and manufacturing schedules.
* Conduct profitability analysis (sales, margin, and cost variance).
* Prepare intercompany recharge schedules and support Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation.

4. Export Documentation & Internal Control

* Prepare Singapore export documentation (CI, PL, and permits) and liaise with forwarders.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
* Strengthen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls.

Job Requirements

* Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/LCCI) are advantageous.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong command of MY/SG accounting standards and tax frameworks.
* Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is required to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders and documentation.
* Systems: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.

Position : Industrial Engineer
Salary : RM 3,500 - RM 4,000
Location : Alor Star, Kedah

Responsibilities:
1) Analyze production processes: Conduct thorough assessments of our timber manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
2) Design and implement improvement initiatives: Develop and implement strategies, methodologies, and systems to optimize production flow, minimize waste, and improve productivity in line with industry best practices.
3) Layout and facility planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize plant layouts, considering factors such as equipment placement, material flow, and safety regulations.
4) Time and motions studies: Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks, streamline work methods, and establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance overall productivity.
5) Capacity planning: Assess production capacity and develop strategies to meet current and future demands by identifying resource requirements, including equipment, labor, and space.
6) Process documentation: Create detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and standard operating procedures, to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
7) Data analysis and reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and generate insightful reports for management to support decision-making processes.
8) Health and safety: Ensure that all manufacturing processes and facilities comply with health and safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
9) Overall, of machine moulding, finger joint and laminating activities.
10) Ensure finger joint and laminating schedule, quality and safety standards are met.
11) To undertake other related jobs as directed by the superior from time to time.
12) To ensure all jobs move smoothly and alert from time to time.

Requirements:
1) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Industrial Engineering are preferred.
2) Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering roles, preferably within the timber or wood processing industry. Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and plant layout design is highly desirable. 3) Knowledge of timber industry: Strong understanding of the timber industry, including knowledge of wood processing operations, equipment, and manufacturing processes commonly used in the industry.
4) Problem-solving abilities
5) Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
6) Analytical mindset
