The Waso Robe Offering is a deeply revered Buddhist tradition in Myanmar, marking the beginning of the Buddhist Lent.

In keeping with this tradition, Kianjoo Can (Myanmar) and Boxpak (Myanmar) recently welcomed monks from Thaddhamma Pala Monastery, Kyauktan Township, for a Waso Robe Offering Ceremony. Employees came together to present Waso Robes together with essential items, including two rice boxes, a dining table, to support the daily needs of the monastery. In addition, they also contributed to the monastery building construction fund as part of the offering.

May the merits gained from these offerings bring peace, happiness, and good health to everyone.

𝐀 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐝! 🥰

Nothing brings people together quite like Malaysia’s King and Queen of tropical fruits! 👑

Last Friday, the KJCF Sports Club hosted a delightful fruit gathering at the company canteen, bringing members together for an afternoon filled with laughter, delicious seasonal fruits, and meaningful conversations.

A heartfelt thank you to the organising committee and everyone who joined us to share the joy (and the calories)! Here's to creating more moments that bring us closer together. 💚

On 9th July 2026, we welcomed the SPRM Kuala Lumpur to conduct an 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 at Box-Pak (Malaysia) Bhd. The programme brought together 50 members of Can-One Group's top and middle management to reaffirm our commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical business practices.

The workshop was conducted by the Head of the Community Education Branch (PENMAS), MACC Kuala Lumpur, P/PsK Nurnadiah Kamarudin. Throughout the session, participants were exposed to various anti-corruption issues, including the implementation of Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009 relating to corporate liability, issues concerning the giving and receiving of gifts that may potentially lead to corrupt practices, as well as the offence of submitting false claims.

A forum moderated by Tn. Ahmad Nuri Bin Muda, Pegawai of PENMAS, MACC. The forum also featured Tn. Mohamad Zakkuan Talib, Director of MACC Kuala Lumpur, and Mr. Leong Sheong Lok, General Manager of Kian Joo Group (Region Central), shared their perspectives on the importance of ethical leadership and strong corporate governance in strengthening organisational resilience against corruption.

This programme concluded with the recitation and signing of the 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏-𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆, led by Mr. Tony Foo Mun Choong, General Manager, and Mr. Quek Kheh Meng, Head of Procurement (Group), witnessed by Tn. Mohamad Zakkuan Talib. This pledge reflects our commitment to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

At Can-One Group, we believe that integrity is the cornerstone of all anti-corruption efforts and the foundation of sustainable business success. It is this belief that inspired us to embark on this awareness initiative in collaboration with MACC, reinforcing our commitment to ethical conduct at every level of the organisation. Integrity is not just a principle—it guides our decisions, shapes our culture, and strengthens the trust placed in us by our employees, customers, business partners, and stakeholders. We remain steadfast in fostering a transparent, accountable, and corruption-free workplace where ethical business practices are upheld without compromise.
