本院的創辦，從來不是為了減輕社會在高齡照顧上的負擔，也不是為了讓醫院多出幾張床位，而是出於對生命全程的尊重。
許多高齡長者告訴我，他們最害怕的並不是死亡，而是死前的那些變化──聽力衰退、記憶模糊、摯友離世、生活方式被迫改變。因此，我們希望，在生命的最後階段，他們依然能全力以赴地生活；我們也希望，所有熱愛生命的人，都能給予他們最溫柔而堅定的陪伴。我們的宗旨，是讓長者感受到溫暖與尊重，關心他們的心理與情感需求，而不是以任何理由忽略或剝奪這些最基本的人性關懷。唯有當長者能以愉悅與坦然面對生命的每一刻，生命的圓滿才真正得以成就。
Our institution was not founded merely to address the challenges of aging, nor to free up hospital beds.It was founded out of respect for the entire journey of life.
Many elderly people have told me that what they fear most is not death itself,but everything that comes before it — the loss of hearing, fading memory,the passing of close friends, and the disruption of familiar routines.When that day comes, may they still live each moment with purpose and dignity.And may all who cherish life offer them the best care and understanding possible.
Our mission is to bring warmth and respect to every elder —to care not only for their physical well-being,but also for their
emotional and psychological needs.We must never allow excuses to deprive them of love, empathy, or understanding.
When the elderly can face each day with peace and joy,that, to us, is the true mark of a fulfilled and complete life.
