🤝Strengthening Industry-Academia Collaboration for Malaysia’s Future Engineering Talent

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between NI Malaysia (part of Emerson Test & Measurement) and the Kulliyyah of Engineering at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), bringing industry and academia together to strengthen engineering education and develop future-ready talent.

A key part of the collaboration is the upcoming NI SMART Embedded Lab, where students can gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant tools and apply their learning to real-world engineering challenges.

Together, NI Malaysia and IIUM will create more opportunities for knowledge sharing, industry engagement, internships and project-based learning, helping students build the skills and confidence to thrive in an increasingly digital, connected and automated world. IIUM is a key source of engineering talent, strengthening the pipeline for NI Malaysia and the wider industry.

We’re proud to share that T&M Penang has successfully completed the ATOM Malaysia license renewal inspection, securing approval for another three years.

This achievement reflects our strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards in safety, health, and regulatory compliance. All observations from the inspection were addressed promptly, with clear action plans implemented to further enhance our safety practices—especially in the management of radiation-related activities.

Through a proactive approach, we continue to strengthen safety controls, resolve issues quickly, and ensure a safe working environment for our people.

At T&M Penang, we remain dedicated to continuous improvement, building a workplace that is not only compliant—but responsible, resilient, and safe for everyone.

We’re pleased to share that our recent FM Global audit was successfully completed, with comprehensive site inspections and fire system testing confirming our strong compliance with fire protection and risk management standards.
✅ All observations were addressed swiftly, with immediate corrective actions taken to minimise risk
✅ Warehouse safety enhancements implemented without delay
✅ Long-term improvements planned to further strengthen our fire protection systems
