• Perform various types of welding works.
• Grind using manual or power tools after welding.
• To ensure the quality of welding works.
• To clean the welding bead to remove slag, spatter by using appropriate cleaning tools.
• Visually inspect welds bead to determine the compliance with standards.
• To have good housekeeping at workplace.
• Basic communications skill
• Knowledge of using various gases that suit with welding process.
• Knowledge of using welding and other standard tools and equipment
• Knowledge of wire and filler material application
• Knowledge of welding position
• Knowledge of using proper welding electrode, wire and flux to suit the metal plate
