THE state government extends its heartiest gratitude to Dell Technologies Malaysia for its fundraising effort to further boost the ‘Penang E-Learning Computer Programme’.

Dell Technologies Malaysia managed to raise RM138,000 and it will be used to purchase 60 units of Dell laptops.

A total of 60 units of refurbished Dell laptops were also donated.

The contributions were received by Penang Science Cluster chief executive officer Ooi Peng Ee and witnessed by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

Also present were Dell Malaysia CSR liaison officer Danneil Teoh and programme director Phuah Chin Hong.

支持线上学习电脑计划
戴尔移交电脑予槟城科学圈

马来西亚戴尔科技（Dell Technologies Malaysia ）移交60台复新手提电脑予槟城科学圈（ Penang Science Cluster），以支持槟州政府推行的线上学习电脑计划。

他们一行人，包括马来西亚戴尔科技项目总监潘进鸿、企业社会责任协调专员张镇杰、槟城科学圈总执行长黄炳意及李艾幂，是在周三下午来到槟州首长办公室，进行简单的移交仪式。

有关仪式由槟州首长曹观友见证，以感激该企业贡献社会的努力，在疫情期间伸出援手，让更多学生能够有电子设备，来通过线上学习学校课程。

另一方面，该公司也通过向员工筹款方式，成功筹获13万8000令吉，而这笔款项也将用来购买另外60台电子设备。

这些设备同样将会移交给线上学习电脑计划，通过槟城科学圈审核之后，筛选有需要的学子获取这些设备，以帮助更多学子在疫情期间线上学习。
