R&D Chemist (Product Innovation & Development) - Food Packaging Field

Job Description:
- Responsible for product formula development and innovation.
- To establish manufacturing procedure, product and raw material specification in line with formulations requirements.
- To drive research study and technical progression in new system for biodegradable food packaging or any related category based on the latest science and technology.
- Provide technical support to production and advice the team accordingly on action point with management approval.
- Responsible for maintaining a good document control system for all research data or information generated in the form of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instruction (WI) and any other research study.

Job Requirement:
- Candidate must proceed at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Chemistry or any relevant field.
- At least 1 year working experience in R&D inventing, developing and implementing new product, preferably from food packaging product.
- Knowledge in the R&D Product Realization Process and ability to risk assess the process.
- Project management, Priority setting, Decision Making, Adaptability, Positive attitude, Independent, Open for new ideas.
