Don't just simply buy any work boots! You *must* size up, or you'll ruin your feet 😭
If you're working hard on the job, don't make this mistake: buying your usual shoe size is a recipe for misery.
Walking down slopes or stairs causes your toes to jam against the front, leading to black-and-blue bruising; walk long enough, and the squeezing will cause blisters.
Take my advice: just go half a size or a full size up for work boots!

✨ Why you absolutely need to size up
❶ Feet slide forward on slopes
When walking down stairs, your center of gravity shifts forward, pushing your feet toward the front. Without space in the toe box, your toes will constantly slam against the front of the shoe—causing anything from redness and swelling to bruised or even detached toenails.
❷ Feet swell while walking
Long-distance walking causes blood to rush to your feet, making them swell. Shoes that fit perfectly at the start can become painfully tight halfway through the day.
❸ Need room for thick socks
You'll likely be wearing thick wool socks or double-layered socks.
If the size is too exact, they'll pinch your feet and cause blisters.
❹ The fit is naturally snug
Professional work boots feature stiff midsoles and thick insoles.
The internal space is tighter than that of standard sneakers.
