Insurance is easiest to obtain when we do not urgently need it yet. While we are young and healthy, premiums are lower, approvals are easier, and more protection options are available.
But as time passes, health can change unexpectedly. Conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, stroke, or abnormal medical results may lead to higher premiums, exclusions, postponements, or even rejection.
Many people only realize the importance of insurance after hospitalization or during difficult moments caring for aging parents. By then, some protection may no longer be easy to obtain.
Insurance is not only about death. It is about protecting dignity, preserving future choices, reducing financial burden on loved ones, and ensuring access to proper healthcare and elder care.
We insure our homes before fires and our cars before accidents. In the same way, health protection should be planned before illness happens.
Sometimes, being “one minute late” can cost far more than being twenty years early. ❤️
