Taken from Linkedin, the implementation of the EPF contribution for foreign workers to be implemented in stages.

1) New foreign workers' EPF contributions will be the same as local workers which is at 11% (Employee) and 12% or 13% (Employer).

2) Existing foreign workers, the EPF contributions will be at 2% for both Employers and (Foreign) Employees. It will increase over the period of 6 years in stages to match the above #1.

Bosses, please start your budget preparations now.

HR, please advice your bosses and management on the above.

The Health Screening Program (HSP) was introduced by PERKESO in 2013, offering free health screenings to workers for early detection of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and the risk of heart disease.

PERKESO's Health Screening Program (HSP) 3.0

PERKESO's Health Screening Program (HSP) 3.0 is offered as part of the Matching Grant allocation by the Government for 2023.
Available from 16th May 2023 until 31st December 2023.
Open to all eligible workers (including those who have undergone HSP before).
Offers better screening tests for detecting more NCDs.
Eligibility Criteria

Malaysian.
Aged between 40 and 59 years old.
An active SOCSO contributor under the Invalidity Scheme (has at least one (1) month of contribution in the current year).
Has at least 12 months of total contributions under the Invalidity Scheme.
To check eligibility and undergo health screening under the HSP 3.0, employees need to download the SEHATi mobile app via Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
