While everyone was inside celebrating, there were very different conversations happening outside.

Last Friday, while everyone was inside celebrating the launch of a new brand, I was sitting outside doing BaZi readings.

They had set me up in this little corner away from the crowd because it was quieter. One person would sit down, we'd talk, and then another would come along.

What started as a few minutes of looking at someone's chart often turned into much deeper conversations.

Career. Business. Relationships. Money. Decisions they had been putting off. Things they were trying to figure out but didn't necessarily have someone to talk to about.

What I found interesting was that many of these were successful professionals. People you'd probably look at and think, “This person has it all figured out.”

But that's the thing about people. You really don't know what's going on behind the person you see.

I think this is one of the reasons I enjoy doing BaZi. Not because I get to tell people what's going to happen to them, but because sometimes a chart gives us a different way to look at a situation they've been struggling with.

And if, after that conversation, they walk away seeing their situation a little differently, then I'm happy I was there.

Funny enough, this little corner outside the party ended up being where I had some of the most interesting conversations that night.

Maybe the problem isn't that you don't know what to do. You're just scared of making the wrong choice.

So you keep thinking. And thinking. And thinking.

You ask your friends, search for signs, change your mind, and convince yourself to wait a little longer.

Until months pass… and you're still standing in exactly the same place.

Maybe it's your career. Maybe it's a relationship you're no longer sure about. Maybe it's a decision you've been avoiding. Or maybe you've simply reached a point where you don't recognise the person you're becoming.

And the hardest part? Nobody can make the decision for you. Because deep down, you already know that your life is yours to live.

What helps isn't someone telling you what will happen. It's having a space to look at what's happening without all the noise in your head.

That's where Tarot can be useful.
Not as a promise that the cards will magically fix your life, and not as a prediction carved in stone. Just another way to explore the situation you're facing, the patterns you're repeating, and the choices sitting in front of you.
