Advancing the Spirit of Rizal Through Education & Cultural Diplomacy

A meaningful milestone for the Knights of Rizal Malaysia Chapter as they celebrated their 2nd Investiture Ceremony on 22 August 2026 at OWWA Kuala Lumpur, with the presence and support of the Philippine Embassy in Malaysia.

The occasion was honoured by Her Excellency Maria Angela Ponce, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Malaysia, alongside distinguished leaders from Malaysia’s political, business, professional and diplomatic communities.

Adding greater meaning to this milestone, the Knights of Rizal Malaysia Chapter presented a RM10,000 sponsorship to Penang STEM to recognise 25 Most Outstanding Students from the Technical Skill Learning (TSL) Pilot Programme for Upper Secondary students.

This contribution celebrates the achievements of young learners and supports the shared commitment towards education, skills development, youth empowerment and stronger Malaysia–Philippines friendship.

Congratulations to all the newly conferred Knights, and thank you to the Knights of Rizal Malaysia Chapter for investing in the future of our students.

1 August 2026, marked the commencement of Module 3 of the AI Fundamentals Programme for Upper Primary students conducted by Penang STEM sponsored by the MBPP at their Maker Space at Taman Harapan, Jalan SP Chelliah.

We are delighted by the overwhelming response and the large number of registrations received from students eager to participate, reflecting the growing awareness and enthusiasm for AI education within the community.

On 25 July 2026, Penang STEM successfully conducted the AI Quarky Kit Training for Teachers at the Butterworth Digital Library under the AI Fundamentals Programme.

The programme brought together 14 teachers from 6 Tamil primary schools and 1 community centre, equipping them with hands-on experience using the Quarky AI Kit. The training aims to prepare teachers to confidently introduce AI, coding, and robotics to their students, creating exciting STEM learning opportunities in their classrooms.

This initiative is proudly sponsored by the Tamil School Associations, Shan Poornam Metals Sdn. Bhd., and Pentamaster Corporation Bhd. Their continuous support is helping to nurture future-ready educators and inspire the next
generation of AI innovators.
