Although this article was published in earlier Jan, the impact is real and can be felt until now. A4 70gsm/80gsm paper is a good example, the current price is in the range of RM11.40-RM11.90. (which is used to be in the range of RM10.40-10.80) . Use the paper wisely and utilized recycled paper if possible.

"The Federation of Malaysian Stationery and Book Industry said the price of stationery in Malaysia had increased by between 10% and 25% since last year. The increase was attributed to the rise in the price of crude oil as plastic is a by-product of oil, the low exchange rate and high transport costs."
