Johor Bahru Integrated Sdn. Bhd. (JBI) through JBI Logistics Sdn. Bhd. (JBIL) was honoured to welcome YBhg. Tuan Mohamad Shaffie bin Hassan, Director-General of the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (MAQIS), together with YBhg. Tuan Edie Putra bin Md Yusof, Director of Johor MAQIS, for an official working visit to Right Base Jetty, Minyak Beku, Batu Pahat, accompanied by the General Manager of JBI Logistics and Director of Rightbase Trading.

The visit provided an opportunity to review the latest progress of the Barter Trade Centralisation and Development Project at Right Base Jetty, while ensuring that the project’s implementation and operational readiness remain aligned with the established timeline, regulatory requirements and operational guidelines.

The engagement reflects the strong commitment and close collaboration between MAQIS and JBI in advancing the development of Minyak Beku as a strategic barter trade hub. Through effective implementation and coordinated efforts, the initiative is expected to create meaningful economic impact, strengthen trade activities and generate broader opportunities for the surrounding community.

Johor Bahru Integrated (JBI) through its subsidiary JBI Terminal (JBIT) recently conducted a site visit with Zapin Holdings Sdn. Bhd. at Puteri Harbour International Ferry Terminal, Iskandar Puteri.

Zapin Holdings is an official partner with JBIT as a Malaysia’s exclusive duty-free in Johor. Through this strategic partnership, the collaborative effort reflects our commitment in fostering meaningful partnerships by curating trusted global brands, delivering thoughtful experiences and creating seamless, personalised and enjoyable moments for travellers.

The site visit was led by YBhg. Tuan Muhammad Danial Ariff Bin Burhanudin, Group Chief Executive Officer, JBI with accompany of Tuan Hamirul Hafizi Bin Mohd Noh, Chief Operating Officer, JBI Terminal in assisting Mr. Marcus Tan Dexun, Director of Zapin Holdings Sdn. Bhd., to discuss potential areas of collaboration.

On 1st August 2026, Johor Bahru Integrated (JBI) was invited to the University of Reading Malaysia’s 10th Graduation Ceremony.

The ceremony was further elevated by the Conferral of an Honorary Doctorate in Psychology upon Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia in recognition of Her Majesty’s distinguished contributions and unwavering commitment to education and society.

In the ceremony, YBhg. Tuan Muhammad Danial Ariff Bin Burhanudin, Group Chief Executive Officer was honoured to represent the company in celebrating a significant milestone in the university’s journey of academic excellence.

Mr. Amirul Hassan Bin Nor Ahmad, Head of Finance JBI, had the honour of representing JBI in presenting the 'Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement Award' to Tan Yi Xin, a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying (Honours) graduate from the University of Reading Malaysia for her exceptional all-round performance throughout her academic journey.

The recognition reflects JBI’s continued commitment to supporting education, celebrating academic excellence and empowering the next generation of leaders to contribute towards a brighter future.

Johor Bahru Integrated Sdn. Bhd. (JBI) hosted its Majlis Kesyukuran dan Doa Selamat on Thursday, bringing together key stakeholders to express gratitude for the company’s smooth operations and to seek continued blessings, safety and success in its future endeavours.

The ceremony was graced and officiated by YB Dato’ Hj. Mohammed Ridha bin Dato’ Hj. Abd. Kadir, Johor State Secretary, while the Doa Selamat was led by Tuan Hj. Mohd Zaidi bin Saman, Imam of Masjid Kota Iskandar. More than 140 guests attended the event, including senior government officials, strategic stakeholders and members of JBI’s senior management.

As part of the ceremony, JBI presented a special contribution of RM10,000 to Madrasah Tahfiz Al-Quran Azizurrahim (MATAR). The mock cheque was presented by YB Dato’ Hj. Mohammed Ridha bin Dato’ Hj. Abd. Kadir to YBhg. Tuan Tengku Arbaie bin Tengku Ismail, Senior Assistant Teacher I of MATAR, accompanied by YBhg. Tuan Muhammad Danial Ariff bin Burhanudin, Group Chief Executive Officer of JBI.

The contribution reflects JBI’s commitment to supporting the continued development of the madrasah, strengthening its educational initiatives and empowering its students to pursue greater progress and excellence.

Also in attendance were YB Dato’ Hj. Hasrin Kamal bin Hashim, Mayor of Iskandar Puteri City Council; YBhg. Tuan Khairil Azizie bin Che Mat, Southern Region Marine Director, Marine Department Malaysia; and YBhg.
