Teknik pembajaan bagi pokok kelapa sawit yang mengikuti panduan aplikasi baja secara bulat mengelilingi pokok berdasarkan jarak tertentu dari batang pokok. Setiap lapisan bulat mewakili jenis baja yang berbeza dan jarak aplikasi yang disarankan untuk memaksimumkan penyerapan nutrien oleh pokok.

1. **Borate (50 cm dari pokok)**: Borate digunakan dalam lapisan yang paling dekat dengan pokok, kira-kira 50 cm dari batang. Boron adalah elemen penting yang membantu dalam pembentukan dan kekuatan dinding sel, serta penting untuk perkembangan buah dan pembungaan.

2. **Urea (Merata dalam piringan, jari-jari 100 cm)**: Urea, yang mengandungi nitrogen, diletakkan pada jarak 100 cm dari pokok. Nitrogen adalah komponen penting yang menunjang pertumbuhan vegetatif pokok, seperti daun dan batang.

3. **Kieserite (Merata dalam pinggir piringan, jari-jari 120 cm)**: Kieserite, sumber magnesium, diletakkan lebih jauh sedikit, pada jarak 120 cm. Magnesium penting untuk fotosintesis kerana ia merupakan komponen utama dalam klorofil.

4. **RP, MOP dan BA (Merata diluar pinggir piringan, jari-jari 150 cm)**: Baja-baja ini diletakkan pada jarak 150 cm dari pokok, membentuk lapisan luar. RP (Rock Phosphate) untuk fosforus, MOP (Muriate of Potash) untuk kalium, dan BA (Boric Acid) sebagai sumber boron tambahan. Fosforus dan kalium adalah nutrien penting yang mendukung pembentukan akar dan buah.

Teknik ini memastikan bahawa semua nutrien penting disalurkan pada jarak yang optimal dari pokok untuk penyerapan yang efektif, mengikut keperluan spesifik pokok kelapa sawit dalam pelbagai fasa pertumbuhannya. Teknik pembajaan ini juga membantu dalam pengurusan nutrien yang lebih cekap, mengelakkan pembaziran dan memastikan pertumbuhan yang sihat dan produktif.
