Dear MyTRIZ competition participants,
It gives us great pleasure to announce the top eight teams who will proceed to the final round of MyTRIZ Competition 2012. We would like to thank all the participants for submitting their proposals. We have received many fantastic proposals and have had a tough time selecting the final eight. The outstanding quality of the submissions for the first ever TRIZ competition in Malaysia was simply amazing.
The eight teams who will share the total prize of RM 80,000, in no particular order are AvengerX, Bestice, Eureka, Knight, Le Solveur, Putra-MIAT, TRIZer, and X'treme. The final eight will have from 1st to 30th October to enhance their submissions and submit the powerpoint and word documents to [email protected] and [email protected].
The final presentation to the international TRIZ judges will be held on 6th November 2012 at Dewan Utama Pelajar, USM from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The presentation schedule will be sent to you on 1st November 2012. You will have 20 minutes to present and 10 minutes to answer the judges’ questions.
We have arranged mentors to guide the eight teams to the finals. The assigned mentors are: AvengerX (mentor: TJ Yeoh, [email protected]), Bestice (mentor: Paul Devaraj, [email protected]), Eureka (mentor: Song Chia Li, [email protected]), Knight (mentor: Karnail Singh, [email protected]), Le Solveur (mentor: TS Yeoh, [email protected]), Putra-MIAT (mentor: TS Yeoh, [email protected]), TRIZer (mentor: Nagappan Annamalai, [email protected]) and X'treme (mentor: Fred Chan, [email protected]).
For the final eight teams, please register your team members per competition submission to the MyTRIZ Conference & Workshop website. No substitution is allowed. Should any team member be unable to continue for any reason, the member cannot be replaced, and the team shall have to continue with remaining members. The competition committee has decided to include 4 nights hotel accommodation on top of the Conference & Workshop fees as prizes for making the finals.
All the best to the final eight teams for proceeding to the next round of competition. For those who did not make it to the finals, please do not be disheartened. Do seize the opportunity and participate in the MyTRIZ competition in 2013.
