Actively Hiring | Senior Automation Engineer (Selenium/Playwright)
Job Description:
We're currently hiring a Senior Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium and/or Playwright to help us scale our test automation efforts. If you're skilled in building robust test frameworks and enjoy working with modern CI/CD pipelines, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable automated test cases for web applications using Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define and validate test requirements.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide clear reporting on automation coverage and outcomes.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and tools.
- Ensure cross-browser and responsive testing coverage where needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, APIs).
- Experience working with test runners (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright Test).
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with writing assertions, page object models, and modular test structures.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) for running tests in isolated environments.
- Experience testing Single Page Applications (SPAs) built with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
