We are pleased to share that a Permit to Work (PTW) Training Programme was successfully conducted for Teras Teknologi at Persada PLUS, involving 17 participants and facilitated by our trainer, Hj Aliasman on 29 & 30 of June 2026.

The session focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of PTW principles, hazard identification, risk control, permit requirements and safe work ex*****on. Through practical discussions and interactive learning, participants gained a clearer understanding of how an effective PTW system supports better coordination and helps manage high-risk activities in the workplace.

A well-managed Permit to Work system is more than just documentation, it is an essential control that ensures hazards are identified, precautions are established, responsibilities are clearly defined, and work is carried out safely.
Thank you to Teras Teknologi for the trust and commitment towards enhancing workplace safety and strengthening HSE competency.

Safe work starts with the right controls in place.

Disaster resilience doesn’t begin when a disaster happens. It begins with the steps we take today.

This International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2026, we recognise this year’s theme, “Resilience Starts at Home,” highlighting the important role that households, families, and communities play in reducing disaster risks and strengthening preparedness.
From floods and extreme weather to fires and other emergencies, being prepared can make a meaningful difference.

Here’s what to do during an emergency to help build resilience from the ground up:
🏠 Know your risks.
📋 Prepare an emergency plan.
🚨 Know what to do when an emergency occurs.
🤝 Support your family and community.
🌱 Build resilience before disaster strikes.

We believe effective safety and risk management extends beyond the workplace. Building a culture of preparedness at home strengthens individuals, families, organisations, and communities alike.

Because resilience is not built overnight.

It starts with awareness. It grows through preparedness. And it begins at home.
Let’s take action today to build safer, stronger, and more resilient communities for tomorrow. 🌏

Every voice matters. Every experience has value. And every story has the potential to create change.

This World Mental Health Day 2026, we recognise the importance of listening to people with lived experience and creating spaces where their voices can be heard, respected, and translated into meaningful action.

Mental health is an essential part of overall wellbeing, including in the workplace. A mentally healthy workplace is one where people feel respected, supported, valued, and safe to speak up without fear of judgement.

Because meaningful change begins when we are willing to listen.
👂 Listen to lived experiences without judgement.
💬 Create space for honest and open conversations.
🤝 Support people with empathy and understanding.
🌱 Turn real experiences into meaningful action.

At Scorpion Tact Services, we believe, supporting mental health goes beyond awareness campaigns. It requires supportive leadership, practical systems, respectful workplace relationships, and a culture where people feel comfortable speaking up and seeking support. When people are heard, supported, and respected, we can build workplaces that are not only safer, but also healthier and more inclusive.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s listen to real voices, learn from lived experiences, and turn understanding into real change.

Happy World Mental Health Day from Scorpion Tact Services!

Sometimes, a simple “How are you doing?” can start an important conversation.

A safe workplace is not only about preventing physical injuries and managing physical hazards. Mental health and psychological wellbeing are equally important components of a healthy, safe and sustainable workplace.

Every day, employees face different challenges — demanding workloads, tight deadlines, long working hours, workplace conflicts, changes in responsibilities, fatigue, or difficulties balancing work and personal commitments. When these challenges are not properly recognised or managed, they can contribute to stress and other psychosocial risks that may affect an individual’s wellbeing, engagement, productivity and ability to work safely. Creating a mentally healthy workplace starts with building an environment where people feel respected, supported and comfortable speaking up when they need help.

In line with the World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October, Scorpion Tact Services urge organizations to:
✔️ Recognise psychosocial risks.
✔️ Promote open communication.
✔️ Support healthy workloads.
✔️ Encourage work-life balance.
✔️ Build supportive leadership .
✔️ Strengthen psychological safety
✔️ Make wellbeing part of HSE culture

We are pleased to share that the Hearts & Minds Leadership Workshop and EPIC Internal Trainer – Train the Trainer (TtT) Program were successfully conducted from at EPIC Berhad, facilitated by our trainer, Mr. Aliasman Morshidi.

The program brought together leadership and internal trainers to strengthen their understanding of safety leadership, culture, human factors and effective engagement. Through interactive discussions, practical activities and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants explored how strong leadership and effective communication can influence behaviours and contribute to a more proactive HSE culture.

The Train the Trainer component further equipped EPIC’s internal trainers with the knowledge and facilitation skills needed to effectively deliver HSE-related learning within the organisation, supporting continuous capability development and knowledge transfer.

Thank you to EPIC Berhad for the collaboration and commitment towards strengthening safety leadership and developing internal HSE capabilities.

At Scorpion Tact Services, we believe that effective HSE leadership goes beyond compliance — it is about empowering people, strengthening systems and creating a culture where everyone takes ownership of safety.

Fire safety starts with the choices we make every day.

This Fire Prevention Week, the focus is on an increasingly important fire safety issue: safe charging practices. As the use of smartphones, laptops, power banks, e-bikes, e-scooters, and other rechargeable devices continues to grow, responsible charging plays an important role in preventing electrical and battery-related fire risks.

From an HSE perspective, fire prevention is not only about having extinguishers and emergency procedures in place. It also means recognising everyday hazards, practising safe behaviours, and taking action before a potential incident occurs.

Practise safe charging habits:
🔸 Use chargers and cables that are suitable and approved for the device.
🔸 Avoid using damaged, swollen, or overheating batteries and charging equipment.
🔸 Do not overload electrical outlets or extension cords.
🔸 Charge devices on stable, non-flammable surfaces and allow adequate ventilation.
🔸 Avoid charging devices that may obstruct emergency exits or escape routes.
🔸 Unplug charging equipment when it is no longer required, where appropriate.
🔸 Report damaged electrical equipment, unusual heat, burning smells, or other potential hazards promptly.

A strong fire safety culture is built through awareness, prevention, and responsible everyday actions.

Let’s make safe charging and fire prevention part of our everyday safety culture at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
