This is the story of how the Dell Data Protection division of about 600 people transformed from waterfall development to Scrum.

After their Scrum@Scale implementation, these results were recorded:

✅ 100% on-time with delivery
✅ 94% decrease in Defect Deferrals
✅ Revenue at an all-time high
✅ 60% decrease in Customer-Found Defects (CFD)
✅ 77% decrease in CFD Time to Resolution
✅ Increased quality: from yearly to quarterly releases

Here are 3 toxic work cultures that you must fix before it is too late!

1️⃣ Teams Work in Silos
Across teams or departments, the way information does or does not flow can impact a company’s culture and bottom line. When employees aren’t communicating properly, it can hurt productivity and stifle ideas.

2️⃣ Lack of Direction
Employees look to managers for direction. If senior and middle management aren’t abiding by the core values you’ve set forth, employees will follow suit.

3️⃣ People Don't Trust One Another
Team members who don't trust their leaders are likely working the bare minimum and planning to get out. They're probably not innovating because they don't believe what you tell them.
