We are deeply honoured to receive the Strategic Achievement Award presented by Datoโ€™ Peter T. S. Ng, FASc, Founder & Executive Chairman of UCSI Group, alongside Mr. Khalid Abdullah Bin Abu Bakar, Registrar of UCSI Education Group & Senior Director of Group HR, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Loh Yue Fang, Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management, to current UCC president, Josephine Andrea Madolen. The award ceremony took place during the FBM & IASDA Charity Night on 12th April 2025.

This recognition, granted to UCC in honour of our success in representing and Malaysia in three renowned business case competitions, reflects the unwavering support from UCSI University and the Faculty of Business & Management, which continues to empower us in our pursuit of excellence.

UCSI Consulting Club is excited to announce that our team has won 1st runner-up placing at Sydney International Business Competition (SIBC) 2024 held at

We entered the competition with the goal of gaining experience, learning from the best, and challenging ourselves โ€” and we walked away with so much more than we expected.

Exploring a new country, learning about Australiaโ€™s business culture, and meeting amazing peers and mentors were the true highlights of this journey. For us, it wasnโ€™t just about the outcome, but about learning, connecting, and growing through each challenge.

Our team โ€” Pua Wei Fang (Financial Economics), Josephine Andrea Madolen (International and Sustainable Business), Cheng Yi Xuan, and Chey Shuan Moon (Business Administration) โ€” worked together to tackle two challenging cases from Communiteer and Telstra.

In the 24-hour case, Telstra challenged us to market their telco APIs. By focusing on the healthcare sector and leveraging Telstra Health, we were thrilled to top our pool and finish as runner-up in the finals. Being personally complimented by mentors and judges afterward meant so much to us and gave us a real confidence boost!

In the end, we managed to secure an overall 1st runner-up ranking, and we are also proud to share that Pua Wei Fang was also awarded the Best Speaker Award! But more than the achievements, the real success was in the friendships made, the knowledge gained, and the personal growth experienced as a team.

We couldnโ€™t have done it without the constant support of our advisor, Assistant Professor Foo Fang Ee, who guided us every step of the way. A big thank you also to the Faculty of Business and Management at UCSI University for their continued support. We are proud and grateful to have represented UCSI University on an international stage.

A big thank you to for organizing such an incredible competition and giving us the platform to learn and grow.

Mindori Consulting, led by Mary Wang, Vinna, Wei Fang, and Josephine, secured the 1st runner-up spot at IOCC 2024, standing out among 110 teams worldwide.

We're thrilled to kick start the new academic year with this fantastic news! The team tackled cases on sustainability, emerging tech, and social entrepreneurship. Wei Fang highlighted the importance of continuous innovation in navigating emerging technologies in tackling cases.

"Overcoming stakeholder challenges, the unlocked cost efficiency and carbon reduction benefits were essential for the case company." Josephine, the team's newest member, credited the club's supportive environment for her growth.
