Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) – Submission Requirements Update | 4 September 2026
Based on the latest OSC instructions, here are the 9 key submission points every MM2H applicant — and the agents advising them — should be aware of:
Photo — Submit a clear, genuine passport-size photograph. AI-generated or AI-altered images are not accepted.
Passport — Old passport (if applicable) plus the latest Malaysia entry/exit stamp or MDAC record. The passport uploaded to the MM2H Portal must match the one submitted physically.
Travel Record — Latest entry stamp showing the log number, together with the flight ticket to Malaysia.
Document Copies — All application copies must be clear, legible, and in colour.
Spouse Passport — If the wife is the principal applicant and the husband is not applying as a dependent, the husband's passport copy is still required.
Dual Citizenship — Must be declared, where applicable.
Document Authenticity — Applicant and agent must certify the authenticity of both originals and submitted copies.
Fixed Deposit Bank — Changing the FD bank is only permitted for approved bank-related reasons. Switching purely for a higher interest return is not allowed.
Property Timeline — First reminder at 6 months, second reminder at 3 months before deadline; pass termination notice issued if the property purchase is not completed in time.
