Follow these steps to register your company:Name Search and Reservation:
Check for name availability and reserve your company name via the SSM MyCoID Portal (fee is RM50). The reservation lasts for 30 days.You need to appoint a Company Secretary within 30 days of incorporation of your Company, as you are legally required to do so.
Submit Incorporation Documents:
File the necessary application (called Superform) through MyCoID. The business address, MSIC code of your business activity, shareholders/directors information and incorporation fees (RM1,000 for share capital up to RM400,000) will be required.Open a Corporate Bank Account:
With SSM's Certificate of Incorporation, open a Business Bank Account at local banks such as Maybank, CIMB or HSBC.Taxes: Registering your new company with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) for corporate taxes, and create applications for any industry-specific licenses and permits as needed.
