That’s a wrap on the BioInnovation Launchpad Cohort 2 Bootcamp! Day 3 brought the programme full circle, closing out with pitch day, the moment this cohort had been building toward since Day 1.

The final day opened with the BBA Industry Support & Facilitation Briefing led by Muhammad Hafiz Ahmad, Senior Executive for Portfolio and Ecosystem Development at Bioeconomy Corporation, followed by a briefing on pitch format and judging criteria to set the stage.

Participants then took to the floor for selection pitching sessions, presenting their ventures to a distinguished panel of judges: Fadzrin Azwar Abdul Aziz, Senior Vice President of the Strategic Ventures Division at Bioeconomy Corporation, Johan Nasir, Program Director at Proficeo, Iskandar Shafi’i, CEO & Co-Founder of Growth Charger; and Nick Khor, Partner at Growth Charger.

The bootcamp officially closed with Closing Remarks by YBrs Puan Pauline Goh Boey Hwa, Board of Director at Bioeconomy Corporation, followed by networking and a look ahead at what’s next for this cohort

Day 2 of BioInnovation Launchpad Cohort 2 Bootcamp wrapped yesterday! The focus shifted to the money side of building a bio venture, from financial fundamentals to funding pathways and pitch readiness.

The day opened with Financial Foundations for Bio Ventures, led by Tan Wui Li, CFO of Borong, giving participants a solid grounding in the financial fundamentals every founder needs.

This was followed by a session on Regulatory & IP with Dr. Mohd Shakir Mohamad Yusop, IP Consultant, covering the regulatory and intellectual property considerations critical to protecting and scaling bio innovations.

After lunch, participants explored the Investor Landscape and Funding Pathways with Dr. Wan Raihana, Vice President of the Developmental Fund Management Department at MTDC, unpacking the funding routes available to bio ventures.

The day wrapped with a Pitch Deck Readiness Check, led by Iskandar Shafi’i, Nick Khor, and Luqman Zamberi, and Ahmad Haikal from Growth Charger, helping participants sharpen their pitch decks ahead of the next milestone.

Two days in, and this cohort is building the financial and strategic foundation needed to take their innovations to market. 🚀

Cyberview Living Lab® Accelerator (CLLA) introduces Cohort 22! This cohort brings together a diverse group of 22 innovators developing solutions across Smart Living, PropTech, Industrial IoT and Robotics, Digitalisation and Data Solutions, HealthTech, and Green Technology.

This year's cohort features AI WorkerX, aKadmy, Algae Decarbon, ArtsProud, ASAP XR, Asmala, AuraLabs, CitySage, Flipbizz, GOOLEE, GreenVita, HomeHaven Rx, iConnect, Komers, NCSpeech Technologies, NeoGuard+, Neuron Operations Limited, Novate, SickGPT Inc., Vespi, WorkAce AI, and Zephyron.

Through the accelerator, these start-ups will have the opportunity to refine their innovations, collaborate within the Cyberview Living Lab ecosystem, and strengthen their readiness for growth and market expansion. We look forward to supporting Cohort 22 as they progress through the programme and contribute to shaping the future of innovation and technology in Malaysia.

BioInnovation Launchpad Cohort 2 has officially kicked off! Day 1 brought together this new cohort of bioentrepreneurs and researchers for a full day of orientation, mindset-building, and hands-on strategy work to kickstart their commercialisation journey.

The day began with opening remarks by Christabel Jiram, Senior Manager of Strategic Ventures at Bioeconomy Corporation, followed by a programme briefing from Nick Khor, Partner at Growth Charger.

Next was a session on the Bioentrepreneurial Mindset: From Researcher to Founder, led by Iskandar Shafi’i, CEO and Co-Founder of Growth Charger, exploring the shift in thinking required to move from research to real-world venture building.

After lunch, participants dove into Business Model & Value Proposition with Johan Nasir, Programme Director at Proficeo, before closing the day with a Commercialisation Gap Analysis & Roadmap Workshop, also led by Johan Nasir, to help map out what's needed to move their innovations closer to market.

One day in, and this cohort is already laying the groundwork to turn their innovations into commercial-ready ventures.

Our CEO & Co-Founder, Iskandar Shafi’i and Sr. Programme Manager, Luqman Zamberi, was honoured to join the celebration at Outdoor Expo Malaysia 2026, and we were especially proud to receive a Commemorative Appreciation Plaque from BossRec in recognition of our journey together as their accelerator partner. It's been a privilege watching this team grow, and we can't wait to see what's next.
