Still on training mode. Picking up where I left it off.

Banyak yang perlu dipelajari. The round of unlearning and relearning. Recipes is now being written properly, no more agak2 methods.

I am glad I am able to move forward despite all the challenges.

There’s a saying — slowly but surely.

After months of hiatus, I’ve finally gathered the strength to begin again. Picking things up wasn’t easy. There were many adjustments to make, and even setting up the kitchen took longer than expected. But today, I’m grateful to say… we’re back, one small step at a time.

For now, I won’t be taking bulk orders just yet. I’m starting small — cooking for family and friends as part of my own training and rebuilding my rhythm and confidence quietly behind the scenes. When I’m ready to go full swing, you’ll definitely hear me.

With Hari Raya around the corner, I’m accepting only limited small orders. To those who have reached out to Hayaaty’s Kitchen asking about our rendang — thank you so much for your support and trust. I may not be able to take many, but I can manage a few, insyaAllah.

Slow progress is still progress. Thank you for being here.

It hasn’t been easy cooking alone these days.
The silence in the kitchen… the missing laughter, the jokes, the chaos we used to share — it all makes the space feel a little emptier than before.

Late last month, I finally gathered the courage to cook in bulk again. The recipes were still in my head, but somehow the ex*****on felt blank. Still, I pushed through.

I started by cooking for my family — inviting them over for a simple makan-makan. A beautiful spread of basmati nasi lemak, beef rendang, prawn sambal with petai, and chicken Betawi. I made everything on my own… and for the first time in a long while, I felt proud of myself.

Just yesterday, I prepared chicken curry for 20 pax, paired with roti jala, for a potluck event. If no one else is going to say it… I’ll say it to myself: I did well — and I deserve that little pat on the back.

With that, I think I’m ready to take small orders again next year.

Just need to get my new kitchen in order and I’ll be back at it.

To everyone who has been sending me messages of encouragement — thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Your belief in me gives me strength, and your words are the reason I find the bravery to keep doing what I love.
