Alhamdulillah, our first step towards Shariah-compliant business has been successfully achieved.
By the Grace and Taufiq of Almighty Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, Allah has given us the opportunity to take an important step towards developing our policies, procedures and business practices in accordance with Islamic guidelines and permissible Shariah activities.
We want to do things the right way, not only by complying with laws and regulations, but also by ensuring that our business practices are aligned with Shariah principles, Islamic values and the Sunnah.
After detailed review, discussion and amendments, Alhamdulillah, we have achieved our first important milestone.
Our Agency & Consultation Service Agreement (2026–2027), based on the Wakālah (Agency) model, has been reviewed and confirmed to be in line with Shariah principles and consistent with the relevant Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) Shariah Standards, free from Riba, Gharar and other non-Shariah prohibitions.
This is only our FIRST STEP. Insha'Allah, we will continue improving our business practices according to Islamic principles.
We also strongly encourage other businesses to consider Shariah principles in their operations. Shariah is not only about compliance and rules, it promotes fairness, honesty, justice, transparency, accountability and trust.
