The Multi-Country Islamic Finance Capacity Building Programme 2025 brought together regulators, policymakers, and financial professionals from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan for an intensive week of learning, dialogue, and collaboration in Islamic finance.
Jointly organised by the Kuala Lumpur Centre of Excellence, Islamic Development Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, and ISRA Consulting Sdn Bhd , the programme explored key themes such as Shariah-compliant liquidity management, product structuring, governance frameworks, and regulatory best practices.
Through interactive sessions and industry visits to Maybank Islamic Berhad, Islamic Financial Services Board, and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, delegates gained hands-on insights into Malaysiaโs dual banking environment and Shariah Governance Framework.
