The Ineos Grenadier, Conceived by Sir Jim Ratcliffe in 2016 is a modern, no-nonsense fully capable off-roader inspired by classic utility 4x4s. First entered production in October 2022 at Hambach France.
Under the hood, a BMW’s B58 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol inline-six or a B57 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel inline-six, both paired to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. Designed around rugged body-on-frame construction and beam axles, the Grenadier is designed to withstand demanding conditions from farm tracks to mountain passes.
The lineup includes the five-door Station Wagon, the two-seat Utility Wagon for maximum load capacity, and the Quartermaster double-cab pickup, which rides on a wheelbase stretched by 305 mm. The pickup offers a load bay of 1564 mm by 1619 mm, fits a standard Euro pallet, delivers a payload of 760 kg, and retains a 3,500 kg towing capacity.
