BNI was founded by Dr Ivan Misner in 1985. It is now in more than 75 countries all over the world with more than 286,000 members. In 1998 BNI was introduced to Malaysia by Robert French. The philosophy of BNI is "Givers Gain" which means if I give you business you will like to reciprocate that relationship by giving me business.
