Earlier this year, during our efforts to finalise the Alpha Rebranding project, our client requested the assistance of our team in revitalising the corporate identity of the parent company that oversees both the Alpha and Talos brands.

Naturally, we were eager to accommodate their request.

Yi-Lai Marketing, the entity behind Alpha and Talos tiles, operates strictly in the B2B sector and traditionally maintains a subdued role in the company's branding hierarchy. Consequently, we advised our client to focus on updating fundamental brand materials such as stationery, uniforms, and tote bags, while recommending minimal alterations to their existing logo. The new design was meticulously crafted to harmonise with the visual identities of Alpha and Talos, ensuring it complemented rather than overshadowed them.

Alpha Tiles, a beloved household brand with over 30 years of history, approached us in 2023 for a comprehensive rebranding effort.

Alpha Tiles has earned a place in customers' hearts and minds through its reputation for reliability, durability, and affordability. Over the years, the brand has expanded its product range beyond entry-level offerings to cater to middle to higher-class urban dwellers.

Our task was to conduct a complete rebranding, encompassing brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. The outcome? An elegant black and white wordmark with a sophisticated European flair, complemented by a revitalized brand DNA.

The new Alpha wordmark is a versatile and memorable logo designed to make a lasting impression on customers. It enhances the brand's appeal to a broader audience while honoring its heritage and origins. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Enjoy it~

In 2021, our long-time client of over eight years, Zantat Sdn Bhd, approached us with a new challenge: to develop a brand identity for their subsidiary, with a strong emphasis on environmental friendliness and support for their ESG and sustainability goals. Thus, in November 2021, the brand Zaneco was born.

The Zaneco logo, a subtle yet ambitious wordmark, extends the Zantat brandโ€™s legacy of perseverance and resilience. It also reflects the subsidiaryโ€™s progressive stance and clear vision towards creating a more sustainable environment.

Fast forward to 2023, and our client has proudly launched their first product, Earthya โ€” a 100% biodegradable and compostable bioplastic compound. We were delighted to create another wordmark and a series of marketing and point-of-purchase materials for this exciting launch.

Working with clients who exhibit strong determination, clear vision, and trust in our creative expertise is always a pleasure. We eagerly anticipate many more successful collaborations with Zantat in the future.

have you noticed that a *bronze* medalist is generally *more happy* than a *silver medalist* at the end of the game.

itโ€™s not an incidental finding but a proven fact in many research studies after studying reactions of silver medalists vs bronze medalists!

ideally, a silver medalist should be more happy than the bronze. but, the human mind doesn't work like mathematics.

this happens because of a phenomenon called the *counterfactual thinking*.

the silver medalist thinks, "oh I couldn't win the gold medal." the bronze medalist thinks, "at least I got a medal."

a silver medal is won after losing, but a bronze medal is won after winning.

this happens even in our life, we don't appreciate what we have but feel sad with what we don't have. Let's be grateful for our blessings, they far outweigh our problems if we start counting.

life is after all full of choices, do always count your blessings to stay positive & motivated

A giant ๐Ÿšข ship's engine broke down and no one could repair it, so they hired a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience. โš™๏ธ
He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeing everything, the engineer unloaded his bag and pulled out a small hammer.
