The inception of the KaSUGI group began in 1991 with Wise Metal Sdn Bhd as a metal trading and agency representation venture under the guidance of Encik Mohd Zuhri bin Abdullah. The company subsequently moved away from metal trading and agency representation to focus on the construction sector in 1996 in order to participate in the opportunities available during the country’s period of rapid econo
mic growth. The change in the company’s direction in 1996 was signaled by a change in the company’s name to Kasugi Prima Sdn Bhd. Today, KaSUGI is a PKK Class A Bumiputera Status, CIDB Grade G7 and M*F Bumiputera Status contractor with an excellent reputation. The company prides itself on its “Integrity and Substance” attitude with a strong emphasis on quality and speed of delivery. As a relative newcomer to the construction sector, we have achieved an enviable record of more than RM900 million in jobs successfully delivered to satis ed clients. Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur Airport Services Sdn Bhd’s facilities in KLIA, and Parcel ‘D’ Federal Government Administrative Centre development in Putrajaya. We were also involved in the development of a few premier local universities namely Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) in Kuala Lumpur, Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) in Shah Alam, Multimedia University (MMU) in Cyberjaya, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR) in Petaling Jaya and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in Bandar Sri Iskandar, Perak. We have also completed projects for Malaysian and multinational blue chips such as Bank Negara Malaysia, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad’s branches, the principal showroom of global furniture giant, Haworth USA in Subang Jaya, and various developments for Government and quasi-government agencies such as the Public Works Department, State District Of ces, and the Employee Provident Fund.
