Freelance / Part-Time Accountant

Job Scope / Responsibilities
* Reconstruct full set of accounts from previous years to current year
* Perform bank reconciliations for multiple financial years
* Clean up and organise incomplete or missing financial records
* Prepare trial balance, profit & loss statement, and balance sheet
* Prepare audit-ready working papers and supporting schedules
* Liaise with external auditor until audit completion
* Support regulatory and audit submission readiness
* Work closely with management to obtain missing financial data

Requirements
* Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience
* Experience handling backlog accounts
* Able to work with minimal supervision
* Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Xero or similar)

Duration
* Estimated project duration: 3–6 months, depending on progress and complexity
