"After the Celebration, Reality Hits"

The lights are off now.
The dishes are washed.
The laughter has faded into quiet rooms.

Decorations still hang — but the energy is gone.

And that’s when you notice it.
The seat that stayed empty.
Not because there was no chair.
Not because there was no invitation.
But because the person who once filled it… didn’t come.

During the celebration, there was noise to hide it.
Conversations to fill the gaps.
Food to pass around.
Photos to pose for.
But silence is honest.

🪑 An empty seat doesn’t argue.

It doesn’t explain.
It doesn’t defend itself.
It simply remains.

Some people will say,
“Well, life goes on.”
And it does.

But something else is true too:
Life goes on with the shape of what’s missing.

You replay small things:
— Should I have called again?
— Did they think they weren’t welcome?
— Were they waiting for me to reach out first?
— Did pride win over love… again?

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t anger.
It isn’t even sadness.
It’s the not knowing
whether the empty seat was temporary
or the beginning of a permanent absence.

Because reunions don’t only depend on time.
They depend on courage.
On humility.
On someone deciding the connection matters more than being right.

🌘 After the celebration ends, truth sits down in the silence
and asks the question no one wanted to answer:

Who wasn’t here… and why?
And somewhere, in another house,
someone else may be staring at their own empty space,
wondering the exact same thing.

Not every distance is lack of love.
Sometimes it is fear.
Sometimes shame.
Sometimes not knowing how to come back.

But silence grows heavier with every season it survives.

🕊️ If there is someone whose absence still echoes after the noise fades,
don’t wait for the next holiday to decide what they mean to you.

Because one year, the celebration will come again —
and there may be no one left to return.

Our first CSR campaign for 2026. A community outreach program in collaboration with Global Road Safety Alliance ans Child Passenger Safety Malaysia (CPSM) to create awareness and educate the public on being visible and conscious on the road. We embark on a 10 month ESG campaign with TAR UMT.

The bullies in school may be the same colleagues at work.

𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀

The more you let it slip, the more the person will think they have the license to do it

Say something that will help them understand what they did wrong, "Joanna, when you said that this company is a family, I don't feel that whenever you make jokes that are half-meant...I feel offended when you say X because of Y."
✅️𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
Many people still think its uncool to tell on to HR or your boss because you may look like a kid who can't manage their own life. But its the quickest and most effective way to stop it. When you feel powerless, standing up for yourself by asking for help MATTERS. Don't forget---always make sure you have proof to present whenever you raise this issue.
✅️𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱
Many bullies are the same underperformers of the company, but some are also high-performers who are just insecure about you. When this happens, ignoring and outperforming the bully can be your immunity. In many cases, they will fade away into background the moment they realize they can't keep up. At times, they can be apprehended by other leaders who have witnessed the bullying too.
