Yesterday, our Head of Engineering & Utility Project, Noor Azzizan, joined fellow industry leaders at Malaysia Clean Energy Week 2026 as a speaker for Leadership Roundtable Session 2, titled “Solar Project Construction, Ex*****on & Delivery.”

The roundtable explored the importance of early engagement with utilities and comprehensive engineering planning to minimise commissioning and grid-connection risks. The discussion also addressed how project owners and developers can balance CAPEX optimisation with long-term asset reliability and performance.

Drawing on Ditrolic Energy’s extensive EPCC experience, Azzizan shared practical insights into delivering solar projects through strong engineering, early utility engagement and effective interface management.

He also highlighted the importance of integrating grid connection and commissioning considerations from the early engineering stage, rather than treating them as the final step before Commercial Operation Date (COD).

Held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the session provided a valuable platform for industry collaboration and meaningful conversations on strengthening solar project delivery in Malaysia.

Ditrolic CARES | Powering a More Sustainable Sabah 🌱⚡

Ditrolic Energy is proud to be part of the Program CSR Khidmat Budi Tenaga Lestari ECoS, an initiative by the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS) that brings together industry partners to extend the benefits of sustainable energy to local communities.

Under the programme, Ditrolic Energy contributed a 13.26 kWp solar PV system and 22 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to Sabah Kidney Society. While Sabah Cheshire Home also received a 65.72 kWp solar PV system and 215 kWh BESS through the joint CSR collaboration between ECoS, Ditrolic Energy and Huawei Malaysia.

Ditrolic Energy was represented by Jacky Lee, Managing Director of EPCC & East Malaysia Head at the presentation ceremony, where the recognition was presented by YB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Joachim Gunsalam (Deputy Chief Minister I and Minister of Works & Utilities Sabah) alongside YB Datuk Rubin Balang (Minister of Rural Development Sabah) YB Datuk James Ratib (Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Sabah) and Datuk Ir. Abdul Nasser Abdul Wahid (Chief Executive Officer of ECoS).

Ditrolic Energy is honoured to receive Conditional Approval from Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) for the proposed import and supply of up to 𝟲𝟬𝟬𝗠𝗪 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 under the Southern Johor Renewable Energy Corridor (SJREC).

Developed in partnership with Permodalan Darul Ta'zim (PDT) and IFC, SJREC is envisioned as a long-term renewable energy corridor supporting both domestic and cross-border energy demand. The project's first phase will be underpinned by approximately 𝟰𝗚𝗪𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟱.𝟭𝗚𝗪𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, providing clean, reliable and dispatchable green electricity to support the growth of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
