CHINESE CRUISE SHIP (LIBERIAN FLAGGED) URGENTLY SEEKING QUALIFIED CANDIDATE FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:
Position:
Broadcast Manager
Responsibilities:
1) To control, maintain and operate broadcast facilities to meet the filming and public audio setting requirements of the ship.
such as live TV channels, Viking programings, movies screening, shipboard outlets and public area audio output etc.
2) Filming of ship events and daily programming for stateroom TV and theater screenings.
3) Maintaining operational logs in a timely manner and closely communicate with Cruise Director and various department heads for matters in areas of concern.
Skills Required:
1) Broadcasting qualifications with shipboard experience preferred. That Includes stage production experience with visual and audio cross training. Similar land-based working experience in the management of broadcasting and projection systems and skills will also be considered.
2) Min 2 years of professional experience in which strong knowledge of computer systems (both hardware and software) for set-up and support of broadcasting has been applied.
3) Knowledge of public audio broadcasting preferred
4) Video and digital filming and editing skills expected.
5) Good communication ability with department heads, management and external contractors.
6) Good command of Microsoft word, Excel spreadsheet, and E-mails.
7) Strong command of English.
8) Excellent team-player with great reliability, and able to maintain effective communications across the job scope.
