Strengthening Our EV Isolation Capabilities

The Cytonex team recently took part in a refresher training conducted by Dr Ching Yi Ong from Atlantis Bioscience, focusing on the operation of the Izon Automatic Fraction Collector (AFC) for automated extracellular vesicle (EV) isolation.

The session covered key aspects of the workflow, including qEV column preparation and setup, flow monitoring, collection parameters, sample clarification, and automated fraction collection.

The training reinforced the importance of proper column preparation, appropriate collection settings and effective sample clarification in supporting greater consistency, reproducibility and efficiency throughout the EV isolation process.

This refresher session is another step in strengthening our laboratory capabilities and exploring more efficient workflows for consistent and scalable EV isolation.

A special thank you to Dr Ching Yi Ong and Atlantis Bioscience for conducting the training and sharing their expertise with our team.
