Paint Like Monet is BACK 🎨✨🪷

After the lovely sessions we had back in 2022/2023, I’m finally bringing back my “Paint Like Monet” workshop ☺️

In this workshop, we’ll:
• Learn about Claude Monet himself, his story, journey & iconic masterpieces
• Understand the basics of Impressionism and how Monet sees light, reflections & nature
• Recreate his famous Water Lilies using acrylic paint
• Learn loose impressionist brushstrokes, layering, texture & color harmony

I honestly think recreating masterpieces is one of the best ways to learn art 🥹

When we try painting someone else’s artwork, we begin to notice all the little details; the colors, brushwork, composition, mood, and movement.

It’s not really about “copying”, but more about understanding how the artist thinks and sees the world ✨

Recreated this Water Lilies by Claude Monet; a painting study I did a few years ago 🎨✨
Then, I had the opportunity to see some of the series in person and visit his house in Giverny. It completely changed my perspective on Monet and his work.

I guess I’ll always keep learning about him, and I hope to continue sharing every new piece of knowledge with my students.
