A chemistry professor from Hong Kong has ambitious plans to roll out 30,000 robot chefs that can prepare meals in under three minutes.

Hestia Technology Limited, founded in 2018, focuses on automating kitchens with AI-driven robots capable of cooking over 200 dishes, including Chinese and Italian cuisines.

The robots handle everything from ingredient retrieval to plating and cleaning, cutting labor and energy costs significantly.

Hestia’s system is highly efficient, producing 60 dishes per hour while reducing waste, ensuring consistency, and promoting sustainability. The goal is to generate $256 million in revenue.
