Reflecting on a successful 3 days at Food & Drinks Malaysia (FDM) 2026! 🇫🇷🇲🇾

CCI France Malaysia (CCIFM) was delighted to be part of Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL 2026, alongside Quart de Lait and Metarom Asia, held from 21–23 July 2026 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

Over the three days, we had the pleasure of connecting with industry players, fostering meaningful discussions, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration, bridging connections between our network and the wider international F&B community.

A special highlight was the participation of David Attar, who joined as a panelist at ChamberLink Exchange 2026. His contribution to the panel discussion on “Stronger Together: How Chamber Collaboration Creates Business Opportunities” provided valuable insights on how chamber networks can help businesses unlock new markets, build strategic partnerships, and create opportunities beyond borders.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at our booth and engaged with our team and participating companies. 👏

We look forward to continuing these conversations and strengthening connections within the industry.

🌍 Urbanisation is reshaping emerging agri-food markets.

As cities continue to grow, consumer habits are evolving, driving significant changes across global food systems. From ready-to-eat products 🍱 to innovative retail formats, urban consumers are increasingly influencing the strategies of agri-food businesses.

Across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, this shift is accelerating the growth of modern retail, cold chain infrastructure ❄️, local food processing 🏭, and solutions tailored to fast-paced urban lifestyles.

For international agri-food companies, understanding these evolving trends is essential to identifying new growth opportunities and meeting the changing expectations of consumers. 📈

CCI France Malaysia was proud to participate in the Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE) 2026 on 25–26 June 2026, showcasing a strong French presence through the dedicated CCIFM–TotalEnergies French Pavilion, organised in collaboration with TotalEnergies.

Over two dynamic days, the Pavilion highlighted the innovative solutions and expertise of French companies supporting the energy sector in Malaysia and across the region. 🤝

We were honoured to welcome our Guest of Honour, The Honourable Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Joachim Gunsalam, Deputy Chief Minister I and Minister of Works and Utilities of Sabah, for an official visit to the French Pavilion. His presence reflects the growing collaboration and shared ambition to advance Sabah's energy landscape.

📍 26 June 2026
We were also delighted to welcome H.E. Marc Abensour, Ambassador of France to Malaysia, whose visit reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties and continued support for French businesses in Malaysia.

The French Pavilion brought together:
