WIM which was incorporated on 14.5.1993, is a Non Profit NGO with tax exempt status. She joined a Toastmasters group to improve her speaking skills.

When WIM conducted a Small Business Course for women in the Kajang Prison, they wept with joy when they each received a WIM Certificate of Attendance. One inmate who was released visited WIM to thank WIM for giving her a second chance with the idea of doing her own business. WIM’s participants from the J.E. areas are now earning income in pressed flowers, smocking, candlewax lampshades, basketery

and other business activities. A group of WIM single parent women participants from Kedah went into hydroponic vegetable cultivation. Two participants run a cookie stall at the Mall. One participant trades in East Malaysian batek and songket at the Sungei Wang Plaza, and so the stories go on………………
