CSQ ICON was appointed as the consultant for the Ready to Export programme held from 13 to 15 April 2026, organised by MARA Kelantan at H Elite Design Hotel, Kota Bharu.

The programme involved 30 businesses from Kelantan identified as having strong potential to expand into export markets. Throughout the course, participants were exposed to key aspects of export readiness, including market access preparation, legal and regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, as well as practical strategies for entering international markets.

The programme was officially officiated by the Deputy Director of MARA Kelantan.

Market Intelligence Exploration to Tagam Canteen Chain of Restaurants, Dayin Food Factory and Bizdin Auyl Farm

On September 24, CSQ ICON Team and our Specialized Business Mission (SBM) Delegations explored Tagam Canteen Chain of Restaurant, a top Almaty canteen known for its efficient cafeteria model and authentic Kazakh cuisine. We also visited Dayin Food Factory, specialists in ready meals and retort food production. Bizdin Auyl Farm, Almaty’s largest halal food processor showcasing excellent halal food supply chain management. These visits gave us valuable, on-the-ground insights into Kazakhstan’s F&B operations, consumer preferences, and quality standards key to unlocking global business opportunities.

Kazakhstan officially views Malaysia as its key link to the ASEAN region and is suggesting a new way to talk and work together to connect Central Asia with ASEAN.

This important news was shared by Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr. Bulat Sugurbayev, who praised Malaysia for leading ASEAN in 2025 and for being a strong and stable force in the area.

"Our first embassy set-up to reach out to other countries in Southeast Asia was located in Kuala Lumpur, and it covered all ASEAN countries in the region. This reflects how important Malaysia is as a gateway to ASEAN,” he said.
