Construction Works Programme: A Contractual Perspective.
This programme explored the contractual role and practical importance of the Works Programme in construction projects.
Participants looked at contractual requirements, the relationship between the Works Programme and construction contracts, and how effective programming can contribute to progress monitoring, delay assessment and Extension of Time (EOT) entitlement.

The second programme focused on project uncertainty, risk and decision-making, with a practical workshop component.
Participants explored structured approaches to identify, assess and prioritise project risks, develop effective responses, and strengthen decision-making, communication and stakeholder engagement.

Do not let 'Procrastination' become one of the expensive hidden costs in construction projects.

Sometimes working on construction projects - delayed measurements, postponed cost updates, incomplete documentation - are quite common, especially for one executive who have several ongoing projects in hand. Not because the work is difficult, but because it feels overwhelming or “can wait a little longer.”

A little bit of reminders for all construction professionals out there:

🔹 Clarity beats delay
Be clear in our mind what are the tasks to be done. Don’t say “prepare cost report”—start with “update 3 line items” or “verify today’s site measurements.”

🔹 Start small, move fast
Open the file. Write one line. Check one drawing. Momentum will follow.

Have you been reflecting on a pattern across projects especially those that struggled?

It’s neither about capability nor effort. More often, it’s about proper documentation. As times pass by, I start to realise it’s always a good habit to keep a concise work diary to keep track of the work progress and information retrieval whenever possible.

Never treat documentation as an afterthought—something to “complete later.” As “later”comes, misalignment has already happened, decisions are unclear, and avoidable mistakes have become costly realities.

In our upcoming session with the trainer, we are determined to achieve the goal - turn documentation from a passive task to a strategic tool for project success.
