📣 Yesterday’s training on "Scale of Fees for Engineers: The Future of ECP in Sarawak" was a meaningful example of what we can achieve when professionals work together with a shared purpose.
Government officers contributed their (personal) valuable perspectives and practical experience, while engineers and account officers openly shared the real challenges faced in implementation and the current market. Our trainer also shared comprehensive insights from the perspectives of all key stakeholders, including implementing agencies, consulting engineers, and statutory bodies, providing participants with a better understanding of each party’s roles, expectations, viewpoints, and the practical considerations in implementing the Scale of Fees and ECP in Sarawak. Through constructive discussion, we gained a clearer understanding of both the present Scale of Fees and the future direction needed for our profession.💯
More importantly, the session reflected strong teamwork among government, engineering and financial professionals. This spirit of collaboration, openness and mutual respect is exactly what Sarawak needs as we move forward.👍
