18/4/26 Biomedix Hiking Day!
What a refreshing break from the usual routine! Our team traded desks for trails and screens for scenic views, spending the day reconnecting with nature—and each other.
From shared laughs on the uphill climbs to the sense of accomplishment at the summit, this hike reminded us that great things happen when we support one another every step of the way. 💪

Minggu ini permintaan A positif, B positif dan AB positif meningkat dan mencabar; kes pembedahan, kecemasan, pendarahan usus, pendarahan kanser organ, anemia teruk, pendarahan akibat keguguran di samping kegunaan pesakit yang memerlukan darah secara berkala seperti pesakit talasemia dan pesakit kanser.

Antara kes yang kami dapat untuk minggu ini ada satu kes pendarahan selepas melakukan pembedahan caesarean section. Pendarahan yang banyak sehingga memerlukan 6 beg darah merah, 4 beg plasma dan 4 beg cryoprecipitate. Jenis darah A positif.

Bagi penderma kami yang sudah due, bantu kami untuk capai target kami pada hari ini. Semua kumpulan darah diperlukan A+, B+, O+, AB+

Hari ini centre kami di HUS buka dari pukul 8 pagi hingga 4.30 petang.

Kes-kes penggunaan darah di Hospital Umum Sarawak

8.30 pagi : Permintaan darah group A bagi pesakit muntah darah mengalami Lower Gastrointestinal Bleed(LGIB) - 4 bag darah diperlukan

8.45 pagi : Permintaan darah group B bagi pesakit di Red Zone yang mengalami pendarahan otak - 4 bag darah diperlukan untuk buat operation

9.00 pagi : Permintaan darah group AB bagi pesakit kanak-kanak leukemia - 2 bag darah diperlukan

9.15 pagi : Permintaan darah group O bagi pesakit yang mengalami kemalangan , perlu emergency operation - 6 bag darah O diperlukan

Ini adalah sedikit contoh kes-kes yang admin boleh share dengan masyarakat tentang penggunaan darah di hospital . Setiap minit , setiap jam , darah diperlukan secara berterusan di hospital.

Semalam target kami tidak tercapai, admin risau bekalan darah akan menurun dengan teruk jika tidak capai target untuk hari-hari berikutnya 😔

Bagi donor kami yang sudah due, boleh datang ke centre kami di HUS dari pukul 8 pagi hingga 4.30 petang, kami juga buka semasa lunch hour. Bantu kami untuk capai target supaya kami dapat terus membantu pesakit ini. Semua kumpulan darah diperlukan buat masa sekarang A, B, O dan AB.

Don’t overstress and plan too much. Life has its own way of surprising you. The most beautiful moments happen unplanned, and somehow they are always the ones you remember most. Whatever is meant for you will come to you.

Have complete faith in Almighty’s plan while taking all the necessary actions and practical efforts to achieve a goal. Above all, have trust and tawakkal in Almighty. A calling to do your best and let Almighty take care of the rest.
