Established in Curtin University Sarawak Malaysia on 12 Oct 2013, Curtin IMechE Student Chapter is the first student chapter of IMechE Malaysia that is set up outside Kuala Lumpur, Selangor. Our Mission:
1) Providing a platform to unite mechanical engineering students.
2) Offering exposure towards members to real-life engineering work environments.
3) Procuring additional training for M
echanical Engineering students which are relevant to the current industry.
4) Updating members with the latest developments in mechanical engineering.
5) Instilling amongst students the skills of Leadership and Teamwork through involvement in event organisation activities. Our Objectives:
1.To provide an interactive platform for mechanical engineering students.
2.To provide exposure towards mechanical engineering students to real-life engineering work environments.
3.To serve as a platform for the provision of additional training and advice for Mechanical Engineering Students.
4.To serve as a channel that exposes members with the latest mechanical engineering developments.
5.To instil members with a good team spirit and the ability to lead & manage a team.
