OPERATIONS/TRAININGS/SEMINARS
Qualified, efficient and safety-conscious seafarers are the key components of our company. To achieve these key components, we exercise caution in selecting and screening applicants by the following criteria:
1. no pending case, no serious offenses)
2. Check all documents they submitted and training seminars they have attended.
3. Check family background and to se
cure that no unhealthy relationship between and among family members.
4. Will continue hiring and deploying a drug-free seafarers. We adhere to strict enforcement of a zero tolerance policy to all our hired seafarers.
5. Processing of their departure documents before boarding their vessels.
6. Exhaust all effort to encourage and update the seafarers by providing them seminars and training required by the provision of IMO code, SMS, ISM including the provision of STCW95.
7. Attached for your reference is the list of training/seminar required as stipulated in the training requirements of STCW95. In case the owner/clients wishes to require specific upgrading program or trainingS, ORCHID MARINE AND OFFSHORE SERVICES will prepare the pertinent documents.
