Test Engineer (Local Malaysian Only )

Responsibilities:

· Ability to perform batch script programming, power shell and VBS.

· Perform verification on Test Package/Program and prepare document for NPI to meet monthly target.

· Verify and troubleshoot the Test Package/Program and BIOS release from customer.

· Communicate closely with customer in solving issue and fulfill customer needs.

· Support production on production downtime.

· Perform and meet NPI based on monthly target.

· Monitor the spare part and purchase the spare parts.

· Monitor and release the tester to production and customer consign tester.

· Maintain the production server and update the customer software when there is new release from customer.

· Work closely with QA to solve the quality issue on improving the test related issue.

· Continuously perform improvement/kaizen.

· Test Experience in Networking Product

· Mobility and PC motherboards will be preferable.

· Lead test development activities related to reverse engineering so as to establish a repeatable test process.

· Develop software to integrate testers and internal shop floor control system as to capture data effectively.

· Resolve technical issues during NPI builds to ensure smooth transition of new products to production.

· Verify initial products and identify manufacturability, testability, design and process deficiencies.

· Convert customer BOM and prepare Visual Aids for new products / modules.

· Perform FMEA for new products to minimize potential risks.

Requirements:

· Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification with minimum 2 years’ working experience in either

o RF design/ test and functions architecture.

o Telecommunication network products

o Computing Server/ Blade server

· Test knowledge of either

o mobile devices such as mobile phones, walkie talkie, wireless payment devices and RF scanner would be an advantage.

o telecommunication devices such as ATCA, Network, switches

o PC architecture

· knowledge in Software Programming such as C==,VB, Unix, Linux

· Knowledge in Lean program

· Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

· Good understanding of engineering concepts, exposure to wide test methodology knowledge.

· Able to compute the report using Excel and Word effectively.

· Willing to travel and work OT

Responsibilities
• Responsibilities for ECO implementation for all commodities. Based on past history, there are approximately 8-10 ECO implementation in monthly basis
o Document update (ECO Matrix, Visual aids, Work Instruction), new process training to operators
o BOM update and routing update in SL system
o Material Average Failure Rate (AFR) % estimation
o Monitor for compliance
• Responsibilities during NPI for all commodities. Monthly NPI target is 100 P/N
o Responsible process document preparations (Visual Aids, Work Instructions)
o BOM update and routing update in SL system
o Material Average Failure Rate (AFR) % estimation
o Optimize and improve the material usage by introducing appropriate material salvaging process
• Process Standardization for all commodities (Poland, Suzhou, Penang)
o Attending the weekly call led by Poland team
o Comparing the process gap analysis and standardize with the global finalized process
o SL System routes gap analysis comparison for global standardization
o Implement the finalized processes in Penang
o Coordinate the system changes with local IT team
• Repeat Return Rate (RRR) improvement. Perform process evaluation/data collection for the possible root cause. Introduce the new process in the line for prevention
• Process owner in clean room. Responsible for technical skill training to operator, machine maintenance/repair for tab bonding machine, Lam/Delam machine, Direct Bonding machines
• Repair/Rework machine/tools custodian. Plan for monthly maintenance/calibration activities
• Special project coordinator (as per request by Dell). There were 2-3 cases in monthly basis
• Process owner for Dell yearly QPA for all commodities
• Process owner for ISO audit
• Value Stream leader for Lean Kaizen event in quarter basis
• Communication with customer for engineering related activities
Requirements:
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification with minimum 3years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment in PCBA debugging.
• Experience in PCBA debugging on server products.
• Good knowledge of detailed failure analysis with problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of PCBA debugging concepts and candidates must have a hand’s on approach.
• Experience in Unix (Sun Solaris) would be an advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively and computer literate.

Responsibilities:

●Receiving/Store in and verifying of physical items against Receipt Traveller (RT)/MT

●Report to Supervisor of any discrepancies

●Complete day to day transaction in SL system

●Issuance of store inventory via approved EPR/MT and update the bin card and SL

System

●Ensure using the correct method of counting (weight count and unit count)

●Maintain 100% bin card accuracy versus system and physical quantity

●Perform weekly on line cycle count

●Perform resale /rtv shipment (MRB) as request by planner and buyer

●Support and submit kaizen at respective area

Connecting people who care for a cause that matters.

To cap off the International Lung Awareness Month with something meaningful, Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital held their annual signature cancer awareness charity run on the 9th December at Straits Quay. Keeping with the tradition, the proceeds of this events will all be channelled to the Hospital’s Needy Cancer Patient Fund. A total of RM 160,000 was raised.

The theme ‘I Lung You’ is a nod to the lung cancer awareness month. Stepping into its fourth year, this is the first ever-run with the pairing concept that Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital has organised. All participants were required to register in pair. Some came with their significant other, some with their family members and friends. What’s interesting was some non-smokers purposely got their smoker friend to join them as their partner.

The run had to be completed in pair in order for the participants to get a complete set of medal. It was a custom-made medal that consisted 2 pieces – one shaped like the left lung while another one shaped like the right one. The run saw most of the participants make their way back to the finishing line with their partner in pairs, receiving their left and right lung shaped medal at the same time. Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital would like to take this opportunity to drive home a very simple yet important message – there are certain things in life that takes two to tango, just like this run, just like our lungs!
