❤️ A Little More Empathy, Human Sense

🇸🇬 The recent incident involving 73-year-old wanton noodle seller Yeo Song Khoon at Roxy Square, Singapore, left me reflecting on how we react to situations.

👴 An innocent gesture—gently patting a child’s head—may have crossed a personal boundary. But before reacting, perhaps we need to pause, communicate and understand the intent.

🤝 Boundaries matter. So does empathy. A confrontation should never escalate unnecessarily, especially when dealing with the elderly.

💭 We need more empathy and human sense when reacting to situations. Choose understanding before anger.

🙏 Let’s continue to build communities where respect, patience and compassion guide our actions and decisions

🤖 Beyond ChatGPT: Building AI Agents for Business Productivity

📅 On 28th July 2026, I attended the Beyond ChatGPT: Building AI Agents for Business Productivity introductory webinar by Infotrek, which explored how AI is evolving from a simple chatbot into intelligent agents that can automate, integrate and optimise business workflows.

🚀 One concept that stood out was the AI workflow cycle: Capture → Process → Analyze → Act → Improve. AI agents don't just generate content—they continuously learn, automate repetitive tasks and support better business decisions.

💡 The future isn't about using AI 'occasionally'. It's about designing AI-powered workflows that free people to focus on creativity, strategy and higher-value work for their business stakeholders.

🤖 AI Literacy Empowering Both Lecturers and Students!

On 24 July 2026, I had the privilege of being invited as a Speaker at the Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) Sharing Session with IPK College's School of Technology lecturers, where we explored how AI is transforming higher education and preparing graduates for the future workforce.

🚀 AI is no longer optional in education or the workplace. The future belongs to graduates who are not only technically competent but also adaptable, collaborative and able to use AI responsibly.

👨‍🏫 For lecturers, this means integrating AI, cloud, cybersecurity and real-world case studies into everyday teaching. For students, it means moving beyond theory through internships, capstone projects, hackathons and solving authentic business challenges.

🧠 AI literacy is more than mastering tools. It requires critical thinking, validation, ethics, privacy awareness and knowing when human judgment matters most.

🌱 If we want truly work-ready graduates, we must create learning environments where lecturers and students continuously learn, adapt and innovate together.

🧘‍♂️ Mental well-being begins with our Inner Harmony.

On 19th July, , I had the privilege of supporting and providing Facebook LIVE coverage for the Love & Compassion For The World Inner Harmony Day, with Dato' Seri Lawrence Cheah as the main guest and PAWE Jelutong as co-organizer, at Red Garden Food Paradise, Georgetown, Penang. 🌟

Bringing together over 300 participants from PAWE, senior citizens' homes, the Society Of Disabled Persons Penang, schools and the wider community, the programme created a meaningful platform for reflection, healing and connection.

💙 Through experiential activities, participants explored how to untangle life's burdens, repair emotional challenges and cultivate inner peace through mindfulness.

🤝 Inspiring to see students serving alongside senior citizens, showing that compassion transcends age and background.

A heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers, sponsors and participants for creating this impactful community initiative. 🙏

ET is known for deciphering complex technical and geopolitical shifts into clear, actionable insights—often contributing to national initiatives on technology and education reform, and featured by Bloomberg and Business Insider.

💡 Key reflections: The next generation will compete not just on knowledge, but on judgment, creativity and values. In a world of technology and AI advancement, the real skill is learning how to sift what truly matters. Advanced packaging and semicon shifts are reshaping global R&D and supply chains. Malaysia faces stiff regional competition although it continues to play a strategic role.

🌏 From AI to semiconductors, the pace of change is accelerating. What stood out is the need for mentorship and education development to guide our future talent in navigating uncertainty. But we are in a race against time.

Always inspiring to learn, reflect and stay ahead of the curve.!

Spreading Love and Compassion ❤️ I 12th April (Sunday)

Our members of the Penang Jing Yue Buddhist Meditation Society came together to contribute, prepare and pack free meals for our local communities. A meaningful initiative made even more special as we purposefully donned traditional Indian attire, in collaboration with the Penang Indian Association and Temple of Fine Arts. 🎉👥

We then distributed the meals around Armenian Street, Georgetown, sharing not just food but warmth, kindness, and human connection with those we met along the way. 🤲✨

Grateful for the opportunity to serve and give back. Moments like these remind us that small acts, when done collectively, create a ripple of impact.

We wrapped up the day catching up with President of the Penang Association Dato' P. Murugiah and his team at Karakudi Restaurant—great conversations and fellowship to end a fulfilling day. ☕🍽️
