We had always felt most at home with the turquoise sea, green mountains, golden beach and sea-scented breeze. Every day is a new discovery on this island. We meet a vast range of characters, and immerse in the diversity and depth of culture practiced by islanders removed from homogenous urban lifestyles. Their spirit of heritage and strong bond of unity, as well as the majestic energy of the sea a

nd mountains, are our constant source of inspiration. But this is not the whole truth. There is a state of being beyond cultural experiences and gorgeous surroundings that life on an island offers, but words cannot describe it. We know, because we’ve talked to many people about it, and they, too, were tongue-tied when explaining why they cannot get enough of life on an island. As we put more thought into it, we realize that the state of mind we share is simply Island Living. We believe that Island Living is a lifestyle that can be embraced by all. Wherever we are, it is a reminder for us to take a step back, chill out and find the beauty in our surroundings as we would on an island. Thus, we embarked on a journey to spread the spirit of – open to everyone who wants to be, or is already, part of this community. Embrace and inspire with !

We've been kinda silent for the past few months as we were busy learning the ropes of being parents to this little one! Though we are still learning, but the islandliving lifestyle is still going strong, n slowly being instilled to this lil man ;)
Also our Airbnb is still running, we found some awesome co-hosts to help us out, so please do consider staying at Islandliving Residence when you visit Penang! ✌🏼
